Fortnite Season 8 Week 3 Challenges And How To Complete Them
Check Out Fortnite Season 8 Week 1 Challenges
Check Out Fortnite Season 8 Week 2 Challenges
It’s now week 3 in Fortnite’s 8th season, and with a new week, comes new challenges. Perhaps you didn’t like the apple-eating challenge last week. Luckily for you, Epic doesn’t typically recycle challenges in a single season of Fortnite. They do, however, keep the same sort of style of challenges. There’s a few different stage challenges this week which typically don’t excite me very much. They tend to take a bit longer than i’d like to spend, but to each their own.
Epic does, however, tend to keep players on each part of the map. I mean, it would be kinda crappy if the entire player base just sat around the volcano, and none of the other parts of the map were ever visited. I mean, it makes sense from both sides. Players want to visit the new content, and epic wants people to continue to use both old and new content. Anyway, let’s take a look at Fortnite’s Season 8 Week 3 challenges.

How To Do Stage 1 Visit Fatal Fields, and Salty Springs In A Single Match
This one is going to be a bit tricky because it requires you to do each stage in a single game. For the first stage, it is going to be visiting Fatal Fields, and Salty Springs in the SAME game. Second, is Haunted Hills and Tilted Towers. Third, is Frost Flights and Loot Lakes. The tricky part about this is traveling in between the two. With the addition of the hamster balls, though, it shouldn’t be as hard as it could be.
If you’re trying to knock this one out of the park as quickly as possible, you will absolutely need a vehicle. The hamster balls provide an additional layer of defense that should be able to keep you safe while completing these. I don’t expect you to be able to complete all three of these challenges in a single game, but hey, who knows; maybe you’re a slayer!
How To Do Stage 1 Destroy Cacti In The Desert
This challenge is going to have three different stages, and overall, should be fairly easy to complete. The first stage, will require you to destroy cacti in the desert (0/30). The second stage, will ask that you search ammo boxes in the snowy biome. We recommend Happy Hamlet for this as there is an abundance of ammo crates located there. The third, will require you to head to the north eastern part of the map and open chests.
Given that these don’t require you to actually be in a named area, you can really use the different, or unnamed areas to your advantage. Unnamed areas typically see less players in every match. Be smart about this one, and you’ll complete it in no time!
How To Do Place Different Trap Slots In A Single Game
This is an extremely straightforward challenge, and one that has gotten increasingly more easy as time, and new seasons have been introduced into Fortnite. I say that simply because traps are significantly more abundant than they used to be. Camp fires, jump pads, traps are a crucial part of the game in Season 8 of Fortnite. That said, you’re likely going to find two of these within each different match you play. If you’re looking to complete this as quickly as possible, just drop these bad boys as soon as you get them and worry about the repercussions later. At least you’ll have that challenge done!
How To Search Where The Magnifying Glass Sits On The Treasure Map Loading Screen
The magnifying glass challenge is my favorite challenge this week. I’m always a fan of interesting things put into the game that you need to go out and explore to find. There’s so many different easter eggs across the map, you just have to look for them. That’s sort of how this challenge feels to me. You’ll notice above, the map is a crude attempt by some sort of pirate to mark the location of perhaps some hidden treasure? Why that treasure happens to be in the snowy biome is a different question, for a different pirate.
This is going to be southwest of Polar Peak in a cluster of trees as you can see on the below picture. It is going to require you to grab a battle star near the frozen statue. Not only is it fun exploration, but it’s the easiest tier there is!
How To Search Chests At Sunny Steps Or Fatal Fields
Typical weekly challenge, and frankly one i’d wish we would see rotated out. This is going to be fairly easy for you to complete if you’re headed to Fatal Fields because it is more of a known location, and older. Less people will tend to go here. However, if you’re looking to get involved in some nice fights, we recommend hitting Sunny Steps for this challenge. There’s going to be an abundance of enemy players.
How To Deal Headshot Damage To Opponents
Another self-explanatory challenge. I mean, the game after all is about eliminating your opponents, and you’re typically going to hit a few headshots in the process. If you’re not hitting headshots, I think you may want to consider aiming a bit higher. Or, perhaps you just need to play some Kovaaks :).
How To Get An Elimination With an SMG, Pistol, And A Sniper Rifle
Unless you’re a pacifist, you’re going to be using an SMG, a Pistol, and a Sniper Rifle. Well, I don’t know about the pistols at this point with the recent Deagle nerf. That gun is kind of, how do you say it, doo doo? At the end of the day, though, eliminations are a key part of Fortnite. We’re not playing PUBG, right? The chances of you not getting an elimination with any of the above games within an hour or two on any given night is very unlikely.
